Biography

Shauna Lee was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2013. She has successfully handled hundreds of complex felony and misdemeanor cases in her career.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in May 2012.  Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Salisbury University in Psychology.

Mrs. Lee began her career in Wicomico County where she clerked for the Honorable Judge Kathleen L. Beckstead.  After completing her clerkship, she served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Wicomico County where she prosecuted cases ranging from traffic violations to homicide.  Mrs. Lee was then offered an opportunity with the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office where she worked in the Special Victims Unit, handling domestic violence cases and child abuse cases.  After leaving Baltimore City’s State’s Attorney’s Office, Mrs. Lee became the Division Chief of the Special Victims Unit in Cecil County.  While there, she prosecuted domestic violence cases, sexual assault cases, and child physical and sexual abuse cases.

Mrs. Lee brings a wealth of legal knowledge and knowledge of the inner workings of the judicial system in various jurisdictions throughout the State of Maryland.  As such, she provides practical and accurate information to her clients based on her years of experience.  She works tirelessly for her clients inside and outside of the courtroom.  She is ready to serve you!
