Kathleen Flynn was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2007 shortly after receiving her Juris Doctorate from University of Baltimore School of Law.
For six years, she served as an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore City. There she handled thousands of criminal and traffic matters and gained extensive experience in and out of the courtroom. Mrs. Flynn accepted a special assignment to the District Court Mental Health Court Team where she helped clients struggling with serious mental illness navigate the criminal justice system. Her tenure with the Office of the Public Defender instilled her with an appreciation of hard work and a thirst for justice.
In 2013, Mrs. Flynn established a private law firm. She broadened her practice to incorporate civil litigation with a focus on Estates and Trusts Law, and expanded her reach to include all Maryland Jurisdictions. She is a client centered advocate who emphasizes preparedness, thoroughness, and client education.
Prior to attending law school, Mrs. Flynn graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech. She majored in History and had minors in English and Philosophy. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma Theta, and Phi Alpha Theta honors societies.
